Celebrity Lookalike: Atlanta's Advice Guru

Another installment in our Celebrity Lookalike feature is Dr. Drew. Or we mean, CBRE's David Lanier. It was only in the past few years that David was made aware of his double. "Keith Geiger in our multi-housing capital markets group brought it to my attention. I had  never heard  of the guy before that," he says. David—who heads CBRE's brokerage ops in Atlanta—didn't let Dr. Drew's popularity sway him from considering another career outside of CRE. "I had a brief thought that I wanted to be in the  men's clothing business, but it only took me about two weeks working at Brooks Brothers to determine that I didn't want to spend the rest of my life  on my feet." He's never been confused in public for Dr. Drew, although he did give life advice to a couple of Red Cross nurses. "I hope I  didn't steer them wrong," he says. "I have a  face for radio."
