BIG BROTHER'S HELP

We caught CBRE's Todd Schmitt helping out his big brothers andsisters. After joining the board of directors with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta, Todd now has been tapped to head up the committee charged with raising money for the organization's move to Midtown.
As we reported last month, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta hopes to close on this 3,500 SF house and the integrated 23k SF office, (aka, the former Perkins + Will HQ at 1382 Peachtree St) on May 15 for an undisclosed sum. BBBS plans to relocate from its 12k SF at 100 Edgewood Ave now that its lease has expired. While BBBS has raised $1.6M in gifts and pledges toward its new HQ, the committee seeking to raise a total of $7M. By the way, Todd also is a Big Brother to a local nine-year-old named Bennie.
