BELTLINE OPEN HOUSE

Meet Derrick Duckworth: Adair Park resident, real estate agent, and founder of the BeltLine Team (a group that specializes in   helping people buy and sell  residential and commercial real estate along the Atlanta BeltLine). He focuses on the 45 neighborhoods that will be connected by the Atlanta BeltLine with a special emphasis on southwest Atlanta, where he lives. On  Aug. 14, the BeltLine Team is hosting its first  open house to showcase homes and neighborhoods along the BeltLine, so we spoke with Derrick for a preview.

Here is a "before" picture of one of the homes that will be featured during the open house. At 908 Oakhill Ave., it's in the midst of a renovation. The goal of the event is to get homebuyers, agents, and neighbors to see homes for sale in Adair Park, Capitol View,Capitol View Manor, Pittsburgh, and  Sylvan Hills. It ends with a free cook-out in Adair Park, near the Allene Avenue entrance to the BeltLine corridor. More info here.
