Avalon Signs Two Office Deals

Mark tells us hes signed a slew of leases at the Avalon project, including kids clothing retailer Janie and Jack yesterday. The activity here this year is different than last year, Mark tells us. Last year, it was about meeting prospects and introducing them to the concept of Avalon. This year its getting deals done, he says. North American, in a JV with Greenstone Properties, has even pre-leased half the office component in recent weeks--28k SF to Wakefield Beasley (the architectural firm that designed Avalon) and 10k SF to Integrated Care.
