ATLANTA'S MOST EXPENSIVE BARGAIN

A counterintuitive headline for an hard-to-believe discount. Sources tell us that  271 17th St., the BB&T tower at Atlantic Station, will be purchased by CBRE Investors for $75M, or around $138 per SF. Considering AIG developed the project for $147M, it's a huge bargain.

 

We drove by and snapped this of the tower for what may be the top office sale so far this year for a single building. The building was part of the larger Atlantic Station sale, in which North American Properties purchased the 586K SF  retail village (and some undeveloped land).
