Atlanta Job Growth Boon for Landlords

Good news on the job front: Atlanta's growing them again. Total nonfarm employment in Georgia rose nearly 2.5% from May to October to 4.1 million people (with a 7.7% unemployment rate), according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The real job gainers were in construction, which rose 5.7% to 157,000 new jobs (such as the construction of the Restoration Hardware flagship store in Buckhead we snapped here), and professional and business service jobs, which saw a 5.6% bump in employment to 623,000 total jobs.
