APPLE TO AVALON

Attention Mac geeks in North Fulton. Get ready. Another Apple store could be headed your way.
 
Sources tell us that Apple is in talks for a new store  at Avalon, the much-anticipated mixed-use project (rendered above) in Alpharetta being developed by North American Properties. This would make the fifth metro store for Apple, and sources say could be among the first retailers to open at Avalon once the first phase, including 410k SF of retail space, opens in 2014. (We're positive we'll have lost our iPad charger by then.) No word on whether this store would be in addition to or replace the one at North Point Mall. North American properties declined to comment for this story.
