APG BUYS IN DRUID HILLS

Duke Realty has sold off another Druid Hills-area building. This time to a well known local real estate investment firm.
 
Atlanta Property Group—home of Jonathan Rodbell and Court Thomas—purchased the Druid Chase office building (above) at 2801 Buford Hwy. This is near the Crawford Media HQ we wrote about last week, which that company purchased from Duke Realty as well. According to Databank, the purchase price was more than $7.5M. The 114k SF building is 78% leased, says LaVista Associates'sAustin Chase, who, with Kirven Brantley, was selected by APG to lease the building. This is one of the more high-profile purchases by APG since it bought the The Park at Perimeter Center East last year.
