What is it with Buckhead and big holes? This is one where 1627 Peachtree stood, the former 45k SF office building owned by John Hunsinger & Co. No one would comment on the tear down on the record, but a source familiar with it says Hunsinger & Co tore it down and Dewberry Capital still has the site under contract. No closing date has been set. And Dewberrry's long-term plans for the property remain unknown. John Hunsinger, of course, passed away last year.
