AllState Hits Market With RFP

AllState is the most recent  insurance giant in town searching for consolidated office space for a regional HQ. (At this point in Atlanta, if you need insurance just go out in the street and point.)

AllState Corp is scouting both the Northwest and Central Perimeter office markets for some 100k SF in space. The new location would be a consolidation of AllState's offices at both 200 Interstate North Parkway in the Cumberland/Galleria submarket, and 5660 New Northside Dr, the  tower overlooking I-285 that's being bought by IntercontinentalExchange for its new HQ. The deal is being handled by CBRE's Bill Kilborn  and  Craig Goldberg. Bill says the firm wants to get "their space  more in tune with today's work environment." (Please let that mean there will be an Xbox One there.) The other big insurance move in Atlanta is State Farm's ongoing mammoth consolidation into Central Perimeter.
