ACBR Celebrates With Deal News

We also got to meet up with the commercial board's new 2014 president, C&W's John O'Neill (along with outgoing ACBR president, NGKF's Dave Watson), who says one of his big pushes for the board next year will be pursuing an Energy Star rating and LEED accreditation for the organization's Sandy Spring's HQ. (One way to do that would be to tell people not to use their hairdryers at work.)

We also met up with JLL's Kevin Lott over mimosas about what big deals he's proud of this past year. Obviously, Kevin has a special place in his heart for helping lease Hammond Exchange to State Farm. But he also says another big deal was with the CDC, which leased 120k SF at University Office Park in Atlanta.

But perhaps the biggest news of the ACBR event last week came when we chatted with C&W's Janelle Dorvil, Pope & Land's Jennifer Koontz and RTG's Kari Downing. Turns out Jennifer has a little something due in March--a new baby! Everyone send out their congrats.
