A NEW DATABANK

As you read above, Databank can help keep us on top of things, so we stopped by to see CRE data hound  Alan Wexler, who runs the firm. Recently moved into new offices down Peachtree Street, he was working the phones, of course. Alan says he's happy to see a nice pickup in sales transactions  as well. He cites a number of larger commercial property sales in the metro area, including Shannon Square shopping center, the 574-unit Gwinnett Crossing Apartments,  and the 111-unit Camden at Ivy Hall  apartments. And the more properties trade, the closer the market gets to resetting prices from the boom years, he reminds us.
