The organization has the former Perkins + Will HQ at 1382 Peachtree St under contract for an undisclosed sum and plans to relocate from its 12K SF at 100 Edgewood Ave now that its lease has expired, says Miranda Bryen, a campaign manager for the Atlanta affiliate of the national organization. Bisnow learned that Jones Lang LaSalle's Paul Hanna and Shan Gastineau were tapped by the owner to sell the property, but both declined to comment. Miranda says Atlanta would be one of a select group of BBBS agencies to own its building and will save $207K a year on lease costs to be funneled back into programming. BBBS began a capital campaign this past fall, and has raised nearly $1.2M in gifts and pledges. |
