Yesterday, we sat down at Starbucks on Roswell Road with Stuart Cott, the man responsible for bringing Newell Rubbermaid?s HQ to Atlanta, to catch up on his firm Cott Properties. These days Stuart has diversified his activities into investments, including multifamily, consulting, landlord rep, plus continuing his tenant rep  work. ?I think our business constantly changes and people who get stuck one way or another often become stagnant and unproductive,? he says, adding reinventing  yourself is an important part of remaining ?vibrant and relevant.? Will there be another Newell Rubbermaid for Atlanta? Of course, Stuart tells us. People asked the same thing after UPS  moved its HQ here. ?CEOs want to come here. They want to enjoy the benefits Atlanta has to offer: education, climate, the airport, quality housing.? He even says he's working on another potential HQ relo to Atlanta that could take upwards to 50K SF— if the deal comes to fruition, that is.
