1010 PEACHTREE SALE IS CLOSE

The tire kicking is done, and we're one step closer to a new owner for the retail stores at 12th and Midtown.
 
Owners of Atlanta's newest mixed-use project  are negotiating with an undisclosed party to purchase the 41K SF  street-level retail center at 1010 Peachtree St., sources tell us. JLL's Kris Cooper has been marketing the property, but declined to comment for the story. Sources say  six or seven  parties bid on the property, and JLL is now working out a contract with one of the potential buyers. (Such skilled negotiators deserve a Nobel Peace prize. We'll keep our ears peeled tomorrow.) 1010 Peachtree's retail most recently garnered headlines as the flagship Atlanta location for  CB2, the Crate & Barrel furniture retailer. At 73% occupancy, other retailers include Piola and Ra Sushi.
