IPsoft, a company that focuses on building machines to replace human labor, is expanding its Downtown digs by more than 40k SF.

RFR has announced a 140k SF lease renewal and expansion for the tech firm at 17 State St in the Financial District. The firm’s lease in the building had been for 97k SF.

The expanded space will host the company’s development of artificial intelligence technology that competes with Apple’s Siri and IBM’s Watson. RFR has upgraded the building’s elevators, corridors and public plaza since acquiring it in 1999.

AJ Camhi repped the landlord in-house, alongside a Mitch Konsker-led JLL team. Cushman & Wakefield’s Rob Lowe repped the tenant.
