The growing media company Business Insider is on the hunt for a new 70k SF office in the city.

Business Insider has been in its current space at L&L Holding Co’s 150 Fifth Ave (shown above) in the Flatiron District since 2013. It pays in the mid-$40s/SF for an initial space, and in the mid-$50s/SF for an additional floor in a subsequent expansion, according to The Real Deal.

The company, which focuses on viral business news, is focusing its search on the Midtown South office market and the Penn Plaza district. The current office, a sublease from EMI Group, will be up in 2018.

JLL’s Bill Peters will rep the online publishing company as it looks for space. [TRD]
