Akelius Real Estate Management, the US division of a Swedish investment firm, has purchased a six-building, 378-unit rental portfolio from DSA Management for $124.5M. The properties, at 777 St. Marks Pl, 345 Lefferts Ave, 130 Martense St, and 40, 58 and 95 Linden Blvd in Crown Heights, Prospect-Lefferts Gardens and Flatbush add up to 378 units and 393k SF. At least some of the units are rent-regulated. The buy brings Akelius' total multifamily investment in NYC to more than 900 rental apartments, The Real Deal reports. Rosewood Realty's Aaron Jungreis (above) and Billy Billitzer brokered the deal. Akelius first entered the NYC multifamily market this spring. [TRD]
