Savanna's Affordable Plans for 141 Willoughby

Placeholder

In exchange for rezoning its Downtown Brooklyn development site at 141 Willoughby St, Savanna plans to set aside 81 of the building's 270 units for affordable housing. (Above, its managing partner Chris Schlank joins fromer TOWN SVP Anna Zarro at a Bisnow event.) That's 30% of the planned units, on the high end of the city's planned mandatory inclusionary zoning program, which is reportedly being finalized. The firm filed an application to rezone the site, which it purchased in January for $28M, to erect a 44-story, 310k SF building. Plans include 28k SF of retail and 34k SF of office space. [TRD]
