| At Big Brothers Big Sisters' 13th Annual Real Estate Casino Jazz Night on Wednesday at Cipriani 42, we snapped honorees Glen Weiss of Vornado and Dennis Friedrich, who will become Brookfield Office prez and CEO on July 1. Dennis says he has plenty in common with former NY Giant Tiki Barber (who made an appearance with former Giant Christian Peter), including athletic prowess and high-maintenance hair styles. Glen, who uses his college sportscasting experience to coach his daughters' softball teams, said the event, as viewed from the podium, felt like his Bar Mitzvah 2.0. |
| It's not a real estate event without American Idol's Lauren Alaina, who launched her performance with a little Johnny Cash. Plenty of real estate guys were snapping pictures and videos, which we're sure were to show their kids. |
| We also snapped Fried Frank's Michael Gurary and Joel London and Fidelity National Title's Edward Heim and Ilya Soybelman contributing to the $1.4M raised, in their case at the blackjack table. Looks like Joel just busted. Better luck next year! |
