25-Story Square on Fifth Student Housing Project Tops Out

A 325k SF high-rise student housing project just 500 feet from the Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta topped out last week and is prepping for student move-in this fall. Square on Fifth is a $50M 25-story student living community (on Spring Street with a front door on Fifth), developed by South City Partners and Gateway Development. GC for the project is JE Dunn Construction. Here’s some of the GC crew--Dan Kaufman, Charles Welch, Stuart Bruening and Mike Bartlett--in one of the model kitchens.

The luxury project features a craft coffee bar in the lobby, two floors of offices, a rooftop pool, and an event and collaboration space. The 628-bed project is already 90% pre-leased. Just some of the amenities: floor to ceiling glass walls, clubroom with gaming area, garage parking with gated entry and exit option, and views of the 50-yard line of Bobby Dodd Stadium and the entirety of the Russ Chandler baseball stadium from the rooftop terrace.
