HDR Architecture Wins $100M Contract for New Spy Agency Campus

National

The DOD has awarded HDR Architecture of Omaha, NE, a $100M contract for its design of a new $1.6B spy agency campus in St. Louis. The new facility will replace an existing National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency facility near the Anheuser-Busch brewery.

HDR will use the $100M to support the design and construction of the new campus. As for where the campus will be, the Army Corps of Engineers, which is the contracting organization, has narrowed it down to four possible areas: North St. Louis, Mehlville, Fenton and St. Clair County.

A site will likely be chosen by spring 2016, and the estimated completion date is Sept. 29, 2022. [SLBJ]
