LaSalle Investment Management Hires Head Of U.S. Transactions
LaSalle Investment Management has brought in a new leader to spearhead transactions, the latest in a wave of major personnel changes this year.
Peter Sibilia has been named head of U.S. transactions at LaSalle Investment Management, the company announced Monday.
Sibilia will lead the platform from New York and is succeeding Patrick Pelling, who joined LaSalle in 2014 and is now portfolio manager for LaSalle’s Property Fund.
LaSalle's U.S. transactions business is in growth mode, CEO Brad Gries said in a press release. Chief Investment Officer Richard Kleinman said Sibilia will helm a selective approach for sourcing investment opportunities as the market picks back up.
The real estate veteran has over 25 years of investment experience and most recently spent nearly five years as CEO of a single-family rental platform under Rithm Capital, Adoor Residential. Sibilia led investment strategy for the venture.
Prior to Rithm, Sibilia spent 14 years at J.P. Morgan Asset Management and executed over $10B in transactions. There, he held roles as a managing director for investor management and head of Northeast acquisitions.
LaSalle Investment Management, JLL’s investment management business, started the year by refreshing its leadership team.
Gries, head of Americas, began the role of global CEO on Jan. 1. He replaced Mark Gabbay, who had held the role since 2021 and who became executive chairman. Tim Kessler, global chief operating officer since 2021, added president to that title on the same day.
LaSalle Investment Management has over 825 employees across 13 countries, according to its website. The company had $86.4B in assets under management as of Q3 2025.
