Kayla Carmicheal is Bisnow’s deputy newsletter editor and assists in creating the majority of Bisnow’s briefs and newsletters. She co-writes and serves as producer for Bisnow’s daily flagship newsletter, The First Draft. She joined the company in February 2023 and has held editor positions at Squire Technologies and Booksy. She started her career as a staff writer at HubSpot. Kayla lives in her favorite city, Chicago, and enjoys television shows from the early 2000s.
