Co-Working Space Coming To SoBro District

A building that was the longtime home of Nashville Carpet Center will soon have another use: co-working space. The 13.5K SF property at 515 Fourth Ave. S will be known as SoBro Biz Center and will offer offices and conference rooms for daily and short-term uses, the Nashville Post reports.

Grace Kopf, operations manager for the new business, said the co-working space will open June 1. The business is owned by McKenzie Laird attorney Talbott Ottinger and an unnamed client of his. Ottinger reps an investment group that owns the building, having acquired it in 2015 for $7.5M.

Rates will start at $90/day for a shared room with multiple desks and $200/day for a private furnished office, according to Kopf. Refitting work is underway.
