White Oak Music Hall Unveils Indoor Venue With Four-Day Fest

Placeholder

White Oak Music Hall—the live music venue three years in the making—will open the doors to its two indoor music venues, WOMH Upstairs and the Hall at WOMH, on Aug. 18 as part of a four-day grand opening weekend. Part of the celebration includes free admission to the WOMH Upstairs shows Thursday, Friday and Saturday, subject to venue capacity. (And there will be a $5 charge for minors.)

Independently owned and conceived, designed and operated by a diverse team of local live music fans and professionals seeking to enhance live music in Houston, the openings of WOMH Upstairs and the Hall are the capstone of the WOMH project, which opened its outdoor venue—the Lawn at White Oak Music Hall—to four consecutive sold-out shows in the spring.

Raven Tower, the adjacent four-story tower overlooking Downtown has been closed for renovations, following complaints about access issues for people with disabilities and a string of complaints to city officials from a group of neighbors who live near the music venue in the Near Northside.
