GSA Names New Southwest Regional Administrator Over Nearly 1,500 Buildings

The General Services Administration appointed Bobby Babcock as the regional administrator of GSA’s Greater Southwest Region, effective Monday. 

As the Greater Southwest regional administrator, Babcock will oversee the management of federal real estate and information technology in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. He will manage 1,476 government-owned or leased buildings while leading a team of more than 700 employees.

Prior to joining the GSA, Babcock worked as a director for a large government relations firm.
