On April 22, Hines' Southwest regional office will move into 28K SF on the 44th floor of 609 Main at Texas. Hines will be the first to occupy the new Downtown skyscraper it has been building since 2014.

A building permit filed with the City of Houston listed the cost of build-out for the space as $2.5M and D.E. Harvey Builders as the general contractor, the Houston Business Journal reports. Hines will vacate its 24K SF office in BG Group Place. Move-in dates for other major tenants like McKinsey & Co., United Airlines and Kirkland & Ellis were not made available. 609 Main is set to have its grand opening May 17.
