As each section of The Grand Parkway is completed, development flows into the area. With the completion of the F-1 and F-2 sections, Tomball is now on the receiving end as construction takes off on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial and medical.

One major project is the 63-acre Grand Parkway Town Center, at the southwest corner of The Grand Parkway and 249. The development will feature more than 370k of retail space across 15 pad sites.

One the border between Tomball and Spring, Memorial Hermann is expanding its services with a clinic near Boudreaux Road at The Grand Parkway.

The development doesn't stop there. In March, county officials purchased more than 300 acres just south of the Grand Parkway that will serve as an annex for proposed constable office and other administrative buildings. Tomball ISD recently opened two new schools to accommodate the expected growth.
