Enron Exec Talks Ethics at SIOR

Placeholder

Just under 200 developers and brokers enjoyed SIOR’s annual Deal Makers Dinner at River Oaks Country Club last week. The featured speaker was former Enron CFO Andrew Fastow, who spent nearly six years in federal prison due to his direct role in the largest corporate collapse in US history. He discussed the fine line between business practices that are legal versus those that are ethical and the importance of transparency. Pictured: SIOR president Andy Sowell with Andrew at the event.

MEA CULPA

In Tuesday's Deal Sheet, we mistakenly listed that The Crossing at Telfair was sold. The news item should have read that the 8,700 SF retail The Crossing at Telfair Commons sold. Rubicon Realty's Scott Weaver and Peter Jacob are still marketing tracts in the 60-acre development. We apologize for the miscommunication.
