Denver Tops in Boo!
Halloween is here, and Denver’s a great place for it. Zillow recently reported the top 20 cities in the nation for trick-or-treating, as determined by four equally weighted data variables: the Zillow Home Value Index, population density, Walk Score, and local crime data. San Francisco topped the list again, followed by LA and Chicago, while Denver is No. 11. Zillow further posits that the best local neighborhoods are Cherry Creek, Country Club, Washington Park, Hilltop, and Belcaro.
According to WalletHub, Denver is the 8th Best City nationwide for Halloween, a determination the company made “by analyzing 15 key metrics, ranging from crime rates to the number of candy stores per capita.” No. 1 and 2 on WalletHub’s list are St. Paul and Minneapolis, so there must be something spooky about Minnesota that we’ve never heard. (Number of polite ghosts per capita?)
