Transwestern SVP David Shapiro tells us that office leasing in Denver is being driven both by expansion and new leases, with some industries expanding more than others—but it's ultimately being fueled by the energy sector. “That’s where we’re seeing most of the growth in Denver; much like Houston, but on a smaller scale,” he says. Recently David, with colleagues Andrew Piepgras and Karen Clarke, repped Northridge Capital, owner of Mountain Towers at 4100 E Mississippi Ave, in an 11k SF lease to real estate investor Cardinal Group Cos, which was repped by Studley's Peter Knisely.
