Here's the scene at Transwestern’s Denver office's “Cocktails for a Cause” event recently to round out its fundraising efforts for the firm’s national philanthropy partner, Make-A-Wish. About 100 people attended the event at the Pub on Pearl, where 60% of the proceeds went directly to Make-A-Wish to help grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.

By the end of the night, the donation exceeded $15k, surpassing the fundraising goal by more than $2k.

The event also featured live music, with Transwestern managing director Brad Cohen and his band, The Slipshods, jammin' with renditions of famous rock songs.

Jennifer Jones, an administrative associate at Transwestern, shared her personal experience with Make-A-Wish, which granted a wish for her daughter, now 29 years old. “Not only did this organization positively affect my daughter’s life, but mine as well."
