E-commerce auto parts and accessories retailer CarParts.com is in talks to grow its Dallas-Fort Worth distribution footprint by 156K SF, according to an earnings release from the company.

The firm, which sells auto parts via an e-commerce distribution network, said it's in discussions to expand its Texas Distribution Center in Grand Prairie by 156K SF after opening the 210K SF facility in Q4 2020. The expansion would bring its total distribution footprint to 1M SF.

"During the quarter we saw robust sales that reinforced our confidence in achieving our long-term goal of 20% to 25% compounded top-line growth,” CEO Lev Peker said in a statement. "The expansion of our DC network into Grand Prairie Texas increased our revenue capacity as well as our ability to meet the exponential growth in demand that we are seeing from customers."

By increasing its Texas center's footprint, the firm says it will be able to carry more products to quickly service larger markets.
