THE ART OF BUSINESS

THE ART OF BUSINESS
A large sculpture at The Hall Collection at Hall Office Park in Frisco

Continuing our Christmas theme, we moseyed over to The Hall Collection at Hall Office Park in Frisco, which always makes the season bright. (Can we call that color “stocking red”?) Hall chairman Craig Hall says art is a conceptual force that drove the design and master plan for the development. The lifelong collector likes to make art accessible to tenants and visitors and encourage art education, believing art can make a profound difference in people’s lives, he says. Here, David Iles paints the Laredo sculpture. The steel piece by Texas artist Mac Whitney stands 21' tall and was recently added to the collection.

A contemporary art piece, giant staples, by Paul Kittleson

The Texas Sculpture Garden features more than 165 pieces of contemporary art throughout the grounds, including this newly placed "Staples". (You can be sure nobody steals artist Paul Kittleson’s stapler.) The Hall Collection and Texas Sculpture Garden are located at 6801 Gaylord Parkway at the Dallas North Tollway within the Hall Office Park. The exterior collection is open till dusk; the interior art displays are open weekdays 9-5 and Saturdays 9-noon. More info.
