Not content to rule the industrial and retail world around Alliance Airport, Hillwood?s residential arm, Hillwood Communities, hosted more than 400 Realtors recently at Arlington Hall at Lee Park to promote the housing division. Judging by the look of amazement, it's probably obvious that Virginia Cook?s Sherri Baer won the car. She's with Hillwood Communities CEO Fred Balda. Hillwood has been building family communities since 1988 delivering more than 20,000 single-family lots in more than 60 cities, primarily in North Texas. What began in its home market of DFW has now expanded into other major markets including Wyoming, Florida, California, Nevada, Hawaii, and Costa Rica.
