LENDING A HAND
RMH’s Courtney McLain, Bradley & Bradley Inc.’s Jerry Bradley, Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion’s Mark Spinelli, and The Container Store’s Kelley McDonald

This week, the Ronald McDonald House  of Dallas will open its new 60K SF home at 4707 Bengal St. to 60 families with seriously ill children. The new site doubles the number of families currently served. RMH’s Courtney McLain, Bradley & Bradley Inc.’s Jerry Bradley, Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion’s Mark Spinelli, and The Container Store’s Kelley McDonald celebrated donations from employees at Kelley's store, who also installed shelving. Hyatt staffers stocked the house with towels and linens—it’s provided linen laundry service since '89, and its chefs provide dinner once a month.

Here with RMH ED Barbara McDermott, Jerry worked with his identical twin, John, and City Realty’s Robert Todd to help with the RMH land acquisition. (It needed to be close to Children’s Medical Center, be appropriately zoned, and environmentally clean.) Jerry says he and John were impressed by RMH's staff organization and the many   volunteers working year-round. He credits RMH’s organization for helping bring its dream of a new building to fruition.
