Sterling Bay Signs Tenant to Gutmann Leather Building

Logistics firm CH Robinson signed a 15-year lease with Sterling Bay for office space at 1511 W Webster. It's the first announced deal by Sterling Bay since the developer bought the Gutmann Leather and Lakin General sites in the Clybourn Corridor in July.

CH Robinson will move into the three-story, 207k SF Gutmann Leather building in 2016, once Sterling Bay has completed the build-out. Sterling Bay will also serve as property manager. CH Robinson currently occupies 160k SF at 1840 N Marcey.

In addition to the Gutmann and Lakin General sites, Sterling Bay purchased the 28-acre A Finkl & Sons site in the Clybourn Corridor. It plans to spend up to $1B redeveloping the entire 40 acres.
