Industrial sales and leasing

GC Glass Inc. signed a lease for 3k-SF at 6218 S. Oakley Avenue in Chicago. Michael D. Nelson  and Mark A. Nelson of Paine/Wetzel ONCOR International  repped the landlord, Matt Peterson, in the transaction. The tenant was represented in-house.

A start-up car wash company signed a new, 2,000 square foot lease at 1518 N. Throop in Chicago. Paine/Wetzel?s Nelson and Nelson again represented the landlord, while the Ruban Group's Edeza Pasqual  represented the tenant.

Star Creations,  a wall d cor business, is moving its headquarters to a new building developed by Panattoni  at 610 Schelter in Lincolnshire. CBRE ?s Keith Puritz, Brett KronerRyan Bain,  and Zach Graham  repped the landlord in the 99k-SF transaction. Mass Realty's Bill Mass  repped Star Creation, which is moving from Wheeling. The 30-foot clear building is slated to be completed by August.

Sara E.F. Gensburg LTD, an architect, has bought a 3k-SF office condominium at 105 Revere Drive in Northbrook. The $425k office space is part of an 18k-SF single story office condo building developed by The Missner Group.

Retail Leasing

Joseph Freed & Associates  has signed PUMA for the lease of its first U.S. flagship store as a part of its Block 37 development. The store will open along with 60 other retailers this fall.

Portfolio leasing

Executive search firm Heidrick and Struggles has selected UGL Equis  to provide strategic portfolio services worldwide. Chris Wood,Scott GoldmanDaniel Fisk  and Adam McCostlin  will lead the Equis team.

Construction

Reed Construction  is working on a 20k-SF office build-out for Children's Home & Aid Society at 100 N. Western Ave in Chicago. Reed?s Tom Schlueter  is the senior project manager and Techno Ltd.  is the architect. Bradford Allen Realty's Julie Lane  repped Children's Home in its new lease.

At auction

Inland Real Estate Auctions, Inc. is selling a 10k-SF multifamily building at 1675 Green Bay Road in Highland Park with a minimum bid of $999k. It was previously offered at $2 million.

Another item on Inland?s June auction slate is a 48k-SF mixed use property at 14-22 Center Street in Bensenville. The Building has a new fa ade and was previously priced at $2.3 million. The minimum bid will be $375k.
