Simon to Renovate SouthPark Mall

Major interior and exterior renovations begin this month at Simon Property Group's SouthPark mall. Look for refinished columns, soft seating and lounging areas with WiFi connectivity. The food court will be upgraded and renamed the Dining Pavilion, and new signs, plants and floor coverings will be added, the Charlotte Business Journal reports. The last major upgrade was in 2004, when the property's Nordstrom wing was built. [CBJ]
