Wave Of Residential Projects Gets Go-Ahead From City

The Charlotte City Council green-lighted a number of projects this week, including Rockwell Capital's plan to rezone 2.7 acres in Dilworth to develop 10 single-family homes and 52 multifamily units (pictured).

Also, Chen Development has approval to develop as many as 19 single-family attached units in Cotswold, and Blanchard Family LLC got the go-ahead to redevelop a site in the Carmel Road area to build 35 townhouses, the Charlotte Business Journal reports. Hopper Communities received rezoning to develop 85 townhouses at the former Cannon Cathedral site. [CBJ]
