Miller-Valentine Starts Work On Upscale Apartments In Fort Mill

Miller-Valentine Group broke ground on Beckett Farms, a 280-unit apartment development near the intersection of Gold Hill Road and I-77 in Fort Mill. The Ohio-based company opened its Charlotte office only last year and has been in an expansion mode.

Previously, Miller-Valentine undertook commercial and affordable housing projects in the Carolinas, but Beckett Farms represents a move into upscale multifamily development locally, the Charlotte Business Journal reports. The upper end of the market in Fort Mill is underserved. The property will include one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, with the first phase delivered by May 2017. [CBJ]
