“IT’S A BLUEPRINT FOR OUR LIVES…”
Bluprint is more than the name of a new Charlotte restaurant that breaks from the local meat-and-two straightjacket. The owners gave the 5,000 SF uptown eatery themes based on the geographic and cultural diversity of its owners, says partner Marcus Thompson(above). He took a minute from getting ready for the grand opening next week to invite us over for breakfast—anytime. Bluprint offers breakfast all day, including something called ?Peace & Love,? a waffle with chicken wings on the side (for only eight bucks!). There's also lunch and dinner fare. Thompson?s partners are George Sheppard, Barry Neal Francois (also the chef), and Justin Moore. ?We brought all of our experiences together,? Marcus says. ?This is a blueprint for our lives.? CBRE's Mike Lucier handled the lease. The McAllister Group was GC, and Smith Harris was architect.
