100 Congress Shows Off Renovations

Downtown Austin’s 100 Congress is sporting a new look. Pictured are Trammell Crow VP Brad Maples and CBRE senior managing director Scott Senese at the unveiling party for the office building’s renovations. CBRE manages and leases the building and oversaw construction management for owner MetLife Core Property REIT. 100 Congress renovated 9,400 SF, the lobby and second floor, in a yearlong process.

CBRE VP Katie Ekstrom and Avison Young principal Burke Kennedy enjoyed the festivities, including live jazz from Alan Retamozo and food/drinks from Pappasitos. Renovations (designed by Gensler) include reconfigured glass walls at both entrances, installation of Bianco Venatino white marble flooring with Romino gray marble accents, Armourcoat white polished plaster walls, and Eucalyptus wood accents. 100 Congress totals 412k SF and 22 stories.
