As Comcast unveils its fifth Atlanta Xfinity Customer Center in Snellville, the hometown cable giant is planning to push for another eight across the Southeast this year. We spoke with Comcast's Alex Horwitz fresh after Comcast opened its 6k SF store at Presidential Markets, a Target-anchored shopping center in Gwinnett County.

The living room-like store is part of an effort to transform how customers do business with Comcast, company officials say. It already operates eight of these stores throughout the Southeast, including one in Midtown near Ponce City Market.

CBRE's Kurt Buttle is representing Comcast in this retail expansion. Comcast has been making some big real estate moves in recent months, including leasing out a big presence at the underway SunTrust Park mixed-use project in Cobb County, and moving its HQ to Peachtree Corners.
