The headquarters for a fast-food company known for meat is planting its banner at the former Newell Brands headquarters space.

Arby's Restaurant Group Inc. inked a deal for 161K SF for 12 years at Three Glenlake, a 355K SF mid-rise office tower overlooking Georgia 400 at Abernathy Road. Newell leases the whole building, even though it moved in 2015 to a 200K SF building it bought nearby at Embassy Row. But Arby's reached an agreement to take a portion of Newell's space at Three Glenlake instead of subleasing it, officials said.

In 2016, Newell officially designated Hoboken, New Jersey, as its headquarters after its $15B merger with Jarden Corp. Newell Brands' remaining lease expires at Three Glenlake in 2020.

As Bisnow first reported, Arby's had been expected to move from its previous headquarters at 1155 Perimeter Center West. The deal comes just days after Arby's parent company, Atlanta-based Roark Capital Groupcompleted its nearly $3B acquisition of Minneapolis-based Buffalo Wild Wings to form a new company called Inspire Brands, which would operate out of Atlanta while maintaining a support center in Minneapolis, company officials said.

JLL International Director David Demarest and Senior Managing Directors Brannan Moss and Josh Hirsh brokered the deal for Arby's, while JLL Managing Directors Jeff Bellamy and Kevin Lott and Senior Associate Liz Koteles represented the landlord, Columbia Property Trust.
