RocaPoint Development
The other big mixed-use development up Georgia 400 is joining the gigabit race. Halcyon, the 135-acre mixed-use project targeted for McFarland Parkway in South Forsyth County, has entered into an agreement with Comcast to bring gigabit internet speed to the project. Developer RocaPoint Partners is slated to open the first phase of the project next year. Comcast plans to install dozens of outdoor Xfinity WiFi hotspots in the project as well, according to company officials.
