Central Atlanta Progress Lives Up To Its Name

Placeholder

Central Atlanta Progress VP of marketing Wilma Sothern is calling 2014 “Downtown’s Big Year,” and not for nothing. Take your pick: launches, openings, renovations, deals, and a flood of Millennials choosing it as its live/work/play destination (hello, Ponce City Market!). No wonder The New York Times called downtown Atlanta one of the 52 places to go in 2014. Contributing to the trend is The National Center for Civil and Human Rights’ grand opening, The Atlanta Streetcar (soon to be up and running), and The College Football Hall of Fame - Atlanta (opening an amazing new building by Labor Day). Added to the mix are Pop-Up Retail shops, and Coca-Cola opens its Downtown tech center to 2,000 employees. Central Atlanta Progress has been at it since 1941, and you’re encouraged to attend its annual meeting on March 19 (register today). For more info on our sponsor, click here.
