We went to Lakewood Country Club for the Shot in the Dark Dinner and Golf Classic. The one-of-a-kind clinic, hosted by Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind, gave those who are visually impaired the opportunity to play with special lit golf balls. We snapped co-chairs Michael Haddad, Guillermo Garcia and Tony Pica with Columbia Light House CEO Tony Cancelosi.

After a full game of golf played well into the dark night, there was dinner, silent and live auctions, and casino games. Here, Metro Casino Events’ Nick Francis, Comcast Sports Net’s Steve Buckhantz, Broad Street Realty CEO Michael Jacoby and Lerner’s Stuart Miller.

During the clinic, participants could learn different techniques, so everyone, impaired or not, saw they could overcome obstacles. Here, DOD’s Lory Buettner with CLB’s Chris Toler, Marti Tirinnanzi and Brandon Cox.
