We went to the 3rd Annual SCORE Awards at Long View Gallery. We snapped D.C. United coach Ben Olsen, right, whose team is on the rise, currently in second place in Soccer's Eastern Conference. He's with DC SCORES former coach Charity Blackwell and current coach Simon Landau.

The gala celebrated the incredible coaches and volunteers who make the DC SCORES after-school program possible. DC SCORES builds teams through after-school programs for 1,500 low-income DC youth at 44 schools combining poetry and spoken word, soccer and service-learning year-round. The evening began with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, followed by awards to six people and two teams who made an impact on the lives of DC kids. Here, Robert Half's Lauren Woolley, Samaritan Inns' Justin Feltman, Grant Thornton's Joshua McGee and DC SCORES' Libby Watkins.
